About traffic from
a ClickScan scanner
If you reached this page from a log entry or a firewall alert, here is what happened and what to do.
Who we are
The IP address that contacted your system belongs to ClickScan, an automated security-assessment service operated by ClickSecure AI (<legal entity name, reg. no., address>). ClickScan runs non-destructive, read-only checks that customers request against their own assets.
Why you received this connection
A ClickScan customer requested a security check — for example an SSL/TLS, HTTP security-header or email-configuration assessment — of a domain or host they added to our platform. Scans originate from our egress hosts — egress1.clickscan.ai, egress2.clickscan.ai, and so on (egress{N}.clickscan.ai).
Authorization
Customers must confirm that they own, or are authorized to test, every target. Active checks are only permitted against assets whose ownership has been verified on our platform, and all customers accept Terms of Service and an Acceptable Use Policy that require lawful authorization before scanning.
Our role
ClickScan provides the scanning tool; scans are initiated by our customers, who are solely responsible for ensuring they have permission to assess a given target. We are not responsible for a customer's misuse of the service, and we act on credible abuse reports (see below).
Don't want to be scanned? (opt-out)
Email [email protected] with the domain(s) or IP range you control and we will add them to our global block list so our platform refuses to scan them. To help us verify your request, send it from an address at the domain or include proof of control.
Suspected unauthorized scanning: [email protected]. Security issues with our platform: [email protected] (see our security.txt).
Data & privacy
We log scan requests, timestamps, targets and results to operate the service and investigate abuse. For privacy questions contact [email protected].
